Essex born, East London raised, Becca Folkes has been dubbed as a “spin and win” urban Christian artist. However, it is her story of survival that created the singer within. Rebecca Katherine Folkes was molested. Silenced for ten years, she was also was mentally and emotionally abused. However now at 23 years old, the gloves are off and she is ready to share her story. Collaborating with the global Bible app YouVersion, her devotional called “The Importance Of The Experience: The Survivors Guide” publishes this year.

Debuting in 2014 with her “Christmas Songs” EP, “In My Own Words” followed shortly in 2015 which took the worship leaders powerhouse vocals around the UK and Europe, receiving recognition within the Christian music and media industry. The UEA nominee released her first single “12 Rounds” from her upcoming music collection in 2017 as well as lending her vocals as a session singer to mainstream artists Stormzy and SteffLondon. The success of her 2017 saw her sharing the stage with gospel artists like Jason Nelson, The Walls Group and Tasha Cobbs Leonard.
Due in 2018, her 3rd studio EP, “The Trilogy” is set to be her most personal and revealing collection of music to date.
