6 Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God; 7 and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.
Carrying on in the spirit of encouragement in this New Year, I just want to bring your attention to one of my favourite verses above. As I was meditating on this word I started thinking about how more often than not we overly stress ourselves worrying about life and plans… But I just want to encourage you to try and not stress about your timing, your plans and whatever else that can bring unnecessary strife in your life but to patiently wait expectantly for what God has in store for you and to also spend time in prayer; listening to what God wants to impart into your spirit about the plans he has orchestrated and will have you do this year.
I believe prayer is a very powerful tool that we as believers have. Praying not only makes us more sensitive to doing what the spirit is of God is saying but also equips us for whatever is to come our way. Allow the voice of God to be the driving force in front and behind every choice and decision this year. Wishing you a fruitful day.
