Celebrate the Risen King

Celebrate the Risen King by Reflecting on these Scriptures.

Celebrate the risen King Jesus Christ on this beautiful Resurrection Sunday.

Resurrection weekend reminds us that no matter what we are going through in life, what we’ve been through, or what uncertainties tomorrow may hold, Christ is risen and is our Hope.

Christ Jesus conquered death and made all things new.

Be encouraged, in-spite of the circumstances. Christ is still at the center of it all.

A simple Prayer:

Father, thank you for loving me enough to give me your Son Jesus so that i may live.

I am forever grateful for your grace and mercy and do not take it for granted.

I confess that I am a sinner and need forgiveness.

I ask you to come into my heart, and I commit to following Jesus as my personal Lord and Savior.

In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Here are a few Scriptures to reflect on, this beautiful Sunday morning.

“As they entered the tomb, they saw a young man dressed in a white robe sitting on the right side, and they were alarmed.

“Don’t be alarmed,” he said. “You are looking for Jesus the Nazarene, who was crucified.

He has risen! He is not here. See the place where they laid him. But go, tell his disciples…’” Mark 16:5-7

“Jesus said to her, “I am the resurrection and the life. Whoever believes in me, though he die, yet shall he live,” John 11:25

“If the Spirit of him who raised Jesus from the dead dwells in you, he who raised Christ Jesus from the dead will also give life to your mortal bodies through his Spirit who dwells in you.” Rom. 8:11

“We know that Christ, being raised from the dead, will never die again; death no longer has dominion over him.” Romans 6:9

“He was delivered up for our trespasses and raised for our justification.” Romans 4:25

Having been buried with him in baptism, in which you were also raised with him through your faith in the working of God, who raised him from the dead.” Col. 2:12

“If you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.” Romans 10:9
