Musician, singer-songwriter Zion is already a familiar face on our platform. From his spotlight feature on our platform two years ago as an Artist to watch, to now making it to The Voice U.K, in Sir Tom Jones’ team.
What a difference 2 years makes.
For those of you who do not know Zion, he is a gospel and soul singer from the U.K, who has previously released five singles on iTunes and “Amen” being one of our most favourite. Zion’s musical influences include a myriad of artists consisting of Beyonce, Coldplay and Prince to name a few.
Zion’s rendition of Common and John Legend’s “Glory” impressed the judges so much that Sir Tom had no choice but to turn. Zion wishes to go all the way and land a recording contract with Universal’s record label UMOD, and judging from his audition, there is no reason why he shouldn’t be able to make it all the way.
We hope to catch up with the man of the hour and bring you an exclusive soon.
