Hello my name is Kerschen Woolridge growing up I knew very little about Christ; my life was based on living the fast life. My life continued to spiral down the hill; my dad became incarcerated when I was a toddler, my mother was shot when I was only nine years old, I became a drug user, gang affiliated, and living life on the edge without any consequences. I lost friends and family due to gang related and crazy violence and became even more enraged with the worldly life! It was not until I became incarcerated and was facing five to ninety-nine years in prison. I didn’t know when I was going home or if I was going to be with my family again. I spent six months there and decided to give my life to Christ. From that point realized that I was a sinner and that I really believe in the death burial and resurrection of Jesus Christ. That’s when I accepted him as my Lord and savior and I made a vow to God that I was going to get out, and do right and serve Him.
No matter who you are or what you have done, you are qualified to be a part of God’s family.❤❤

I wanted a new identity, and to do that, I needed to make a change and try something different in life. I began to get in God’s word and renew my mind; I did that by studying and meditating on the word day and night and also attending Bible study. After serving six months, I was released and now here came the test to see if I was going to stay true to my word. I remained faithful to God and began my journey outside of those prison walls. I found a bible based church, where I continued to grow in Christ, I found a beautiful wife, that was also after God’s heart. My wife and I got baptized together and continued our walk in Christ. I am now a husband, a father of six and most importantly a youth minister, and my goal is to share my testimony and minister the word so that somebody that’s lost may see Christ the way that I see him. All I do is apply the word to my life it gives me clarity, hope, and peace. The decision that I made was the best decision I made in my entire life, and I know if God can do it for me he can do it for anyone!
