Have you ever sat down and asked yourself “What is my significance?”
So what is significance? Could it be noteworthiness (Something worth giving our time to perhaps?)
We said at the start of the year that this was the year for us to soar. However, I sat down as the Lord began to minister to me about definition being the answer to us soaring.
He said this is the defining year whereby those who are defined by me will excel and be propelled to greater heights.
I was shown how a bird knows who it is and has an awareness of the worth and power of its wings. Its ability to flap and fly helps to define it and give it distinctiveness from say a cat. I doubt we would mistake a cat from a bird because there is something distinctive about them.
How can you soar if you are not God defined?
How can you soar if there is nothing extraordinary about you?
How can you soar if you don’t know your identity in Christ?
How can you soar if you are not God aligned?
Every child of God is marked for a difference. However, not many know this because they are not in alignment with purpose as they have not allowed God to define them or rather for God to be the defining factor in their life.
We are very busy trying to define ourselves because we think we know best and have every solution to every problem, yet the bible tells us to lean not unto our own understanding. We are busy making all the wrong decisions because we think we have all the answers but God is looking at us saying Be still my child, I have this all figured out only if you could just let go and trust me to finish what I began or want to begin.
You see when God defines you; there is certain clarity about you. You don’t have to try too hard because people know exactly what you stand for and whose you are. You become invisible and God becomes more magnified in your life and His glory shines through you. We are so busy defining ourselves with our plan B’s, C’s and self glory when God has the ultimate blueprint, plan and path in His hands.
Choose Him today and He will make your path straight.
