Surrounded by God’s Protection

Do you know that we are surrounded by God’s Protection?

That is right, God doesn’t want us to live our lives in fear.

Over and over the Bible tells us to fear not and assures us of God’s Protection over our lives.

Isaiah 41:10 reads;

Fear not, for I am with you;
Be not dismayed, for I am your God.
I will strengthen you,
Yes, I will help you,
I will uphold you with My righteous right hand.’

However, with all the turmoil happening in the world today, how can we not be afraid?

Are we immune to fear just because we are Christians?

The word of God reminds us again of Gods protection  and how secure we are in Him, in the book of Isaiah 43:2

“When you pass through the rivers, they will not sweep over you. When you walk through the fire, you will not be burned.”

God knows the enormous weight many of us are carrying on our shoulders.

He knows all our weaknesses and the struggles we carefully hide under big bright beautiful smiles.

Assurance of God’s Protection

God always has good intentions and thoughts towards us, His children.

We are reminded of this very thing through Isaiah, when God assured Israel as they were oppressed in exile.

God reminded them of his power in the past, and God pointed to his sure presence for the future. The Red Sea had not swept over them as they left Egypt (Exodus 14), and in Babylon a fiery furnace would not burn Daniel’s friends (Daniel 3). God promised, “You are mine,” and “I will be with you.”

All through-out the Bible, God’s love for us is clearly evident. We are also reminded that we come under God’s protective covering as we dwell in Him.

Secure in the Most High

Psalm 91:1 reads – He who dwells in the shelter of the Most High Will remain secure and rest in the shadow of the Almighty [whose power no enemy can withstand]. v.1 (AMP)

When you get a moment read the whole of Psalm 91 as it is a great reminder that we rest secure in our Father God and no power can come triumph against us as we remain in Him.

Therefore remember this, though trials and hardships may come, we can still say:

Thanks be unto God who always causes us to triumph in Christ – 2 Corinthians 2:14

Never lose hope, never come out from under His covering. Trust Him completely, even in those times when we don’t fully understand or see clearly what He is doing.

I will leave you with this scripture Psalm 91:9-11 NKJ

9 Because you have made the Lord, who is my refuge, Even the Most High, your dwelling place, 10 No evil shall befall you, Nor shall any plague come near your dwelling; 11 For He shall give His angels charge over you, To keep you in all your ways.

God bless you and keep you.
