Homegrown Worship Release another Hit – Shelter

Find yourself in the shelter of God’s love with this week’s Homegrown Worship release…

Immersed in harmonies, subtle beats, building drums and lofty strings, Shelter is a song for those needing refuge from the everyday downpours, the torrents of life, and everything in between.

Intimate yet powerful, Shelter takes inspiration from Psalm 84, drawing from storm imagery both lyrically and musically as the mid-section swells with thunderous clap samples and textured vocals.

The story behind the the song…

Shelter is a song about knowing the safety of God’s love. A relationship with God is a beautiful thing. Through the ups and downs of running a business, I consistently hear God’s voice speaking to me and calling me to take time out with Him so that I can be the entrepreneur I’m gifted to be, so that I can grow as a husband, father, son and brother, and so I can be a blessing to the people I interact with.

Sheltering in God might involve engaging with the act of Sabbath. In our 24/7 culture where so many of us are permanently plugged in to our screens all day long, God is waiting for you in a place of quiet and rest. Maybe you feel battered by the storm or there’s just been a constant drizzle; either way, take refuge and shelter in God’s house.

Homegrown Worship is gaining momentum with every release, with music currently on over 1.4k Spotify user playlists.

We would love your help in spreading the love of Jesus wider through song. Please can you think of three people to share Homegrown Worship with and ask them to join our mailing list, directing them to http://more.homegrownworship.com/signup.
