Not so long ago Grammy Award-winning gospel singer Israel Houghton openly admitted he sinned during his 20-year marriage to wife Meleasa, but it came at a cost. Houghton was allegedly kicked out of Joel Osteen‘s Lakewood Church amid rumors Houghton cheated on his wife with Rob Kardashian’s ex-girlfriend Adrienne Bailon.
On August 12, Adrienne revealed to the world that she is engaged to Israel Houghton. She took to Instagram to show off her flawless diamond ring in a video posted to Instagram giving the world a glimpse of her new jewelry sparkling by the lights of the Eiffel Tower in Paris, France, where Israel popped the question.
Israel took to instagram to write;
“I have seen and felt the essence of Gods grace through the life, the kindness and the courage of this woman. I’ve seen her attacked, lied about, wrongfully accused, mocked, laughed at, and misunderstood. But, I’ve also seen the shining example of the eagle she is that rises above the cacophony of the noise of ignorants- I’m learning from her example. She loves Jesus. She loves her family.
