1 Corinthians 1:27-29
But God has chosen the foolish things of the world to shame the wise, and God has chosen the weak things of the world to shame the things which are strong, and the base things of the world and the despised God has chosen, the things that are not, so that He may nullify the things that are, so that no man may boast before God.
A lot of people underestimate the word, but. However, anytime you read the words “But God”; your spirit should start rejoicing because there’s hope in that situation.
I love that when people may have written you off as unworthy, basically not good enough and see you as someone with no value But God, then comes into that picture and says I see much more. I love that we serve a But God of excellent timing. A God who sees someone worth fighting for. He lovingly looks at us His creation and rejoices over us because He knows our story.
He can see the final picture that eyes haven’t seen, ears haven’t heard nor mind conceived. I remember one time when some people had wrote me off and wanted to see the end of me but Mercy said no. God said I am not done with you because I have chosen you, though foolish and unworthy to the world, I will however, cause your testimony to shame the wise.
Friends and maybe even family may have despised, rejected you and even refused to see your worth and potential. But God is saying I am writing your story. Forget the former things for I am doing a new thing. I shall cause the world to know your name for my Glory.
I am a living testimony of this Amazing God and His grace, love and faithfulness. I am living to tell the story of how He changed my name from unknown to His own and un-loved to His beloved. Don’t worry about people as long as God has you, you are are more than good.
God bless you
