They constantly face persecution from state authorities and their non-Christian families, friends and neighbors. We have appealed to all our readers for a while now to Pray for their protection. Well, God is an on time God and it looks like all our prayers are being answered.
If any of what has happened over the past week is anything to go by, it looks like its a turning point. We continue to pray that God will give the North Korean church strength and endurance.
Today, President Donald Trump announced that the three American Christians being held in North Korea have been released, vowing to personally greet them when they arrive back on American soil.
“I am pleased to inform you that Secretary of State Mike Pompeo is in the air and on his way back from North Korea with the three wonderful gentlemen that everyone is looking so forward to meeting. They seem to be in good health,” President Trump wrote on Twitter Wednesday morning.
“Secretary Pompeo and his ‘guests’ will be landing at Andrews Air Force Base at 2:00 A.M. in the morning. I will be there to greet them. Very exciting!” the U.S. president added in a follow-up tweet.
