What’s the price of success?
Someone once told me, the road to success for anyone regardless of the industry is a long, cold, lonely, winding and narrow path that some people don’t even attempt. I was told others do attempt this road but unfortunately fall by the way side while those that make it a little further get stabbed in the back and ridiculed. But, all these don’t compare to the pain one feels when the people you love the most (eg. family, friends, partners etc.) begin to doubt you.
I believe that true drive to succeed should be like an addiction (or a painfully intense urge), regardless of what people say and do, even family for that matter. You as an individual HAVE to keep on going and come to a place where you decide that failure just won’t do. Remember that big dreams require bigger sacrifices for the biggest rewards. I believe in giving it all Ine has got (not 85%, 90%, 100% but a 110%) and PLEASE NECER TAKE ANY FORM OF REJECTION as the decision that determines your destiny.
Always remember that a failure is not someone who tries and fails but it is someone who tries, fails, and never tries again. Why am I talking about failure and success you may ask? Well, we are nearing the end of 2017 and many of you are feeling down trodden about the efforts you have put in this year and yet have not seen result or the fruits of your labour. Well, I am here to encourage you as a co-labourer and also to let you know that just because it looks like it didn’t work out in 2017 it does not mean that the seeds that you have planted and watered will not germinate.
Germination is a process that requires deligence. Germination has three key components that ensure the successful start of growth in the seed. There are three factors that are required for successful germination:
•Water – allows the seed to swell up and the embryo to start growing.
•Oxygen – so that energy can be released for germination.
•Warmth – germination improves as temperature rises (up to a maximum).
So like I said earlier, this year may be looking dim. However, hang in there and keep working on your dreams. Start planning out what you expect to see in your 2018 and start implementing those changes now. You should not wait for 2018 to start fixing things that can make a great difference in your life. Get a journal/Diary and plan and follow through with your plans. I always say a man who fails to plan, plans to fail. Review 2017 and make adjustments but most importantly trust the God to complete the good work He has began in you.
God bless you
