Someone once told me the road to success for anyone regardless of the industry can be a long, cold, lonely, winding and narrow path that some people don’t even attempt. Others do, but unfortunately fall by the way side while those that make it a little further sometimes if not most get stabbed in the back and ridiculed. But all these don’t compare to the pain one feels when the people you love the most (eg. family, friends, partners etc.) begin to doubt you.
I believe the true drive to succeed should be like an addiction (or a painfully intense urge), regardless of what people say and do, even family for that matter, you HAVE to keep on going. Remember that big dreams require bigger sacrifices for the biggest rewards. I believe in giving it all I’ve got (not 85%, 90%, 100% but a 110%) and PLEASE DON’T TAKE ANY FORM OF REJECTION as a reason to stop, however look at it as God’s redirection. A failure is not someone who tries and fails but is someone who tries, fails, and never tries again or simply doesn’t try at all.
