Let Go, and don’t look back in this season. There is a sifting and shifting that God has deemed fit.
Without a doubt, you need to let go of the steering wheel, and let God be the one in control.
As far as I can determine, many of us are holding on to things God has shaken off.
Even though God has regarded some situations or people in our lives as not steadfast and very shakeable,
Yet, we wrestle with God and cling on to these conditions or state of affairs.
The reason why God has allowed the removal of these shakeable things, is because they can be shaken and eventually become a liability.
It is better they be shaken off and removed now, than at a pivotal point in your journey.
A couple of weeks ago, I shared a word titled get ready to be separated in this season
this new post feels like an extension or continuation of that word.
There are things that are in need of shaking in your life.
Some of you have already started experiencing this shake and it feels rough, but God says it is necessary.
He is shaking the things that we have grown accustomed to or become comfortable with and are scared to let go of.
I want to use Hebrew 12:26 – 27 as a point of reference, to drive home a point: and it reads;
26 At that time his voice shook the earth, but now he has promised: “Yet once more I will shake not only the earth but also the heaven.” 27 Now the expression “yet once more” indicates the removal of the things that are shaken, things that have been made, in order that the things not shaken may remain.
There is a need for the removal of those things which can be shaken to go,
In order that those things which cannot be shaken may remain in your life.
When a shaking takes place in our lives, it can be very disastrous and painful.
It is so hard and heart-breaking to see people we have known for decades leave us.
Yet, we learn to navigate through those horrible times, if we allow God to lead us, as the head of our lives.
Many people are about to go through a season of shaking and separation.
Furthermore, this shaking will not only be experienced by people spiritually.
We are also about to embark on a journey where we shall visibly see and feel shakings in the earth.
The earth is groaning in the nations all over the world and unstable months are ahead of us.
This season going forward is all about being grounded in Yahweh, listening and discerning.
We should always be attentive to what the spirit of the Lord is saying
However, many have functioned in rebellion, but that has to end now!
All through the Scriptures we are directed to listen to God’s voice and obey Him.
God is speaking in this season and we cannot escape Him.
Today, if you hear his voice, do not harden your hearts as you did in the rebellion.
Hebrew 12:25 reads; Be careful that you do not refuse to listen to the One who is speaking. For if the people of Israel did not escape when they refused to listen to Moses, the earthly messenger, we will certainly not escape if we reject the One who speaks to us from heaven! So don’t turn a deaf ear to these gracious words.
There is a future for you ripe with purpose and divine intention.
Allow God to direct you in the right path and away from the norm you have been used to.
Remember, as God sieves and sifts things in your life, not everyone will come with you.
As I stated in the past blog a couple of weeks ago, you will leave some family and friends behind.
You have to be prepared for this shift because it will not be easy letting go of those friends or family members.
Gods purpose and intent will outweigh any relations you consider as important.
That does not mean that those relations are necessarily bad, they just don’t fit in with Gods agenda.
Gods agenda is far more important and you will need God assigned relations.
Hence why God needs you to be surrounded by a strong spiritual fortress.
You cannot afford to have holes or breaches in the walls of your city because the enemy is at work.
The Bible in the book Isaiah 59:19 says;
When the enemy shall come in like a flood, the Spirit of the Lord will lift up a standard against him and put him to flight.
You have to remember that in this season that we are in, the enemy is angry and he is rising.
However, when we read Deuteronomy 28:7 we are reminded that;
Jehovah will cause thine enemies that rise up against thee to be smitten before thee: they shall come out against thee one way, and shall flee before thee seven ways.
As the days go by, you will begin to notice that certain people you thought were friends have fallen off
People whom you thought would never leave, will depart from your life.
It will hurt to the core, but allow that process to take place.
Do not allow hurt to cause you to take offence or become angered with these departures.
With this in mind, will you be able to rise up to the standard God is calling you up to?
Will you be able to still love and pray for those who betray, mistreat or persecute you?
This season of separation is like no other and you will see this.
Because, God is positioning His faithful ones to be heirs and stewards over what He is releasing.
Therefore, allow God to shake what needs to be shaken because you will thank Him for it.
Even if this shaking may be very painful causing you to feel weak, do not allow defeat to take over.
Arise and begin to fortify your walls. Remember Isaiah 40:29 tells us that;
“He gives power to the weak and strength to the powerless.”
This is not the time to fold nor the time to allow emotions to take over.
I am reminded of Samuel as God asked him “How long will you mourn for Saul, since I have rejected him as king over Israel?” (1 Samuel 16)
God was telling Samuel to not get caught up in what was, and therefore to get on with the new assignment
as He commanded him to Fill his horn with oil and be on his way to anoint the new king.
Once again I implore you to rise up and to not be caught up in past hurts.
Let go of the scars you carry that are so deep within.
It is time to leave old battles that have held you captive and confined behind, and step into Gods purpose.
There is a reason why God has raised you for a time such as this.
The future for you is ripe with purpose and divine intention.
Some of you God has called as an Esther and some of you God has called as a Joseph for your family’s sake.
Unstable and Unpredictable times are ahead of us and you will begin to see them unfolding in the coming months.
The reason for the betrayals and the separations will begin to make sense.
I am reminded of Joseph as God proved to be trustworthy through the dark and difficult times.
In the book of Genesis chapter 42 we are told;
-
1 When Jacob learned that there was grain in Egypt, he said to his sons, “Why do you just keep looking at each other?” 2 He continued, “I have heard that there is grain in Egypt. Go down there and buy some for us, so that we may live and not die.” 3 Then ten of Joseph’s brothers went down to buy grain from Egypt. 4 But Jacob did not send Benjamin, Joseph’s brother, with the others, because he was afraid that harm might come to him. 5 So Israel’s sons were among those who went to buy grain, for the famine was in the land of Canaan also. 6 Now Joseph was the governor of the land, the one who sold grain to all its people. So when Joseph’s brothers arrived, they bowed down to him with their faces to the ground. 7 As soon as Joseph saw his brothers, he recognized them,….
Further on, In chapter 45 we read;
4 Then Joseph said to his brothers, “Come close to me.” When they had done so, he said, “I am your brother Joseph, the one you sold into Egypt! 5 And now, do not be distressed and do not be angry with yourselves for selling me here, because it was to save lives that God sent me ahead of you. 6 For two years now there has been famine in the land, and for the next five years there will not be ploughing and reaping. 7 But God sent me ahead of you to preserve for you a remnant on earth and to save your lives by a great deliverance. [1]8 “So then, it was not you who sent me here, but God. He made me father to Pharaoh, lord of his entire household and ruler of all Egypt. 9 Now hurry back to my father and say to him, `This is what your son Joseph says: God has made me lord of all Egypt. Come down to me; don’t delay. 10 You shall live in the region of Goshen and be near me–you, your children and grandchildren, your flocks and herds, and all you have. 11 I will provide for you there, because five years of famine are still to come. Otherwise you and your household and all who belong to you will become destitute.’ 12 “You can see for yourselves, and so can my brother Benjamin, that it is really I who am speaking to you. 13 Tell my father about all the honour accorded me in Egypt and about everything you have seen. And bring my father down here quickly. “14 Then he threw his arms around his brother Benjamin and wept, and Benjamin embraced him, weeping. 15 And he kissed all his brothers and wept over them. Afterward his brothers talked with him. 16 When the news reached Pharaoh’s palace that Joseph’s brothers had come, Pharaoh and all his officials were pleased. 17 Pharaoh said to Joseph, “Tell your brothers, `Do this: Load your animals and return to the land of Canaan, 18 and bring your father and your families back to me. I will give you the best of the land of Egypt and you can enjoy the fat of the land.’
As noted in the above scriptures, instead of bitterness, Joseph recognised that God sent him ahead.
Though it was painful to be separated from his family, that separation preserved and saved lived by a great deliverance.
The separation he went through ensured preparation, that his family would find their Goshen.
Therefore in this season of separation, prepare prepare and prepare. Awake from your sleep!
In conclusion, I once again remind you that It is time to arise and let go of what has been holding you bound.
God bless you
