Why Most People Aren’t Prepared for What’s Coming

Spread the love

Why are most people not Prepared for what is coming to our world?

It is because most people are not aware of the season we are walking and living in.

But why are they unaware?

It is because most lack discernment of the spiritual significance of the times we are in.

The things that are here, that are shifting and coming should not catch us off guard if we are prepared.

Yet most people choose to embrace delusions and deny TRUTH!

We see a great example of this in Matthew 24: 37-39

37 As it was in the days of Noah, so it will be at the coming of the Son of Man. 38 For in the days before the flood, people were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, up to the day Noah entered the ark; 39 and they knew nothing about what would happen until the flood came and took them all away.

Even if most people are not be prepared, there is clear changes in the atmosphere.

Some choose to ignore it and carry on eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage,

just like up to the day Noah entered the ark.

Now, I don’t believe we should live in fear, but we also should not live in delusion denying the reality that is staring us in the face.

Faith is not about denying negative reality, even if we are focusing on things above.

The reality we find ourselves in is that there is an acceleration and intensification of wickedness, delusions, confusion and doctrines of devils.

When these things begin to take place, stand up and lift up your heads, because your redemption is drawing near.” Luke 21:28

However, don’t overlook the fact that we are not the fist nor the last people to experience seasons.

These various seasons are a necessity to usher in the coming of the Lord one day.

This is not a space for doom and gloom but it will be wrong to stay silent and not make the church aware of the many changes coming.

In fact the systems of the world will begin to collapse and Calamity will strike.

Ultimately for those rooted in the Lord, this is not worrisome.

However, for those who do not know the Lord, where do they turn? Undoubtedly this brings fear and confusion but;

John 3:16 reads: For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. 17 For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through him.

In a world of strange weather phenomenon, wars, food shortages, plagues and violence

A world where people are lovers of self and embracing wickedness and delusions

This is the Lord beckoning you today.

“Even now,” declares the Lord, “return to me with all your heart, with fasting and weeping and mourning.” 13 Rend your heart and not your garments. Return to the Lord your God, for he is gracious and compassionate, slow to anger and abounding in love, and he relents from sending calamity. Joel 2:12-13

If the Lord came tonight, will you be prepared? If not say this prayer with me;

Lord Jesus, I know I am a sinner and have displeased You in many ways. I believe You died for my sins, and only through faith in Your death and resurrection can I be forgiven. I want to turn from my sin and ask You to come into my life as my Saviour and Lord. Amen

Once you have said this prayer, welcome to the family of believers and go and sin no more.

In the New Testament when Jesus told someone to “sin no more,” and they were each under very different circumstances. The one I want o bring your attention to is when Jesus healed an invalid by the Pool of Bethesda (John 5:1–15).

Afterward, Jesus found the man and told him, “See, you are well again. Stop sinning or something worse may happen to you” (verse 14). It is clear that Jesus knew what had caused the man’s condition.

We are not told the specifics of the man’s physical impairment, but the context implies that it was caused by sinful choices.

Jesus warned the man that he had been given a second chance and that he should make better choices. If the man returned to his sinful behaviour, he would have wasted the opportunity Jesus gave him to live whole and forgiven.

To sum it all up, let us live our lives taking into account eternity.

Do not live in love with SIN and find excuses to reject God, because you are storing up Gods wrath.

But because of your stubbornness and your unrepentant heart, you are storing up wrath against yourself for the day of God’s wrath, when his righteous judgment will be revealed. Romans 2:5

Allow me to offend you into heaven than to comfort you into Hell.

Don’t harden your heart, take heed today. Amen
